As far as wolf hunting goes, Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks is thinking about extending the season.
So far 84 wolves have been harvested in the Treasure State. The quota is 220 and the end date is currently set for December 31st.
The FWP Commission is looking for public comment on a proposal to extend the season an extra month or until the quota is reached.
The proposal will let hunters participate in depredation removals; something officials say would help livestock producers.
