NM: Mexican Gray Wolves removed after cattle kills

(KRQE) – Two Mexican Gray Wolves have been removed from an area in the Gila National Forest.

Ranchers in the area reported a dozen instances of livestock deaths in a four-month span. They believe the wolves are to blame.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service captured the two wolves and are looking for a third. They will conduct tests to determine if they found the right animals.
