JOHN DAY – The short documentary, “Crying Wolf,” will be shown at the next Grant County Farm Bureau meeting, at 6 p.m. Monday, May 21, at the Outpost Restaurant.
The film, by Montana resident Jeffrey King, provides insight into the wolves of the Yellowstone ecosystem from the perspective of those small communities most affected by them. It was the winner of an award at the 2012 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.
Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife district biologist Ryan Torland will give a brief update on wolves in Oregon, the status of wolves in Grant County, and what should be done when wolves are encountered.
