Three sheep owners, two from Ljungby and one from Älmhult municipality, should receive compensation for predated sheep. The County Board of Kronoberg made this decision.
It is believed that it was the wolf Kynna who was in the area last fall that attacked the sheep.
Altogether the County Board is paying out 75 000 SEK for 16 predated sheep, reported SVT Smålandsnytt.
The wolf Kynna was shot dead by hunters in November last year after the Environmental Protection Agency granted a controlled hunt of the wolf.
