The county administrative board has decided on a cull hunt for two more wolves in the Rackstad territory, in parts of Arvika and Sunne municipalities.
During November, protective hunting was carried out, where two wolves were shot. However, the county administrative board sees a risk of more attacks of dogs, in total, four attacks have taken place in just over a month.
The new decision means that no more than two wolves can be shot, but if the first felled wolf is adult, the hunt is halted.
The hunt will last until 22 December.
