Two wolves had entered into a pasture and killed a calf. When the owner counted the rest of the herd the wolves came running inside the paddock, the paper said.
The owner tried with the help of several people kick the wolves out of the paddock. Even when one of the people helping fired warning shots the wolves escaped, according to the provincial government surveyor Per Ahlqvist.
