On the brink of Washington’s wolf population being successfully recovered, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife are seeking out public comment to compile feedback on how WDFW should approach the management of wolves after wolves are no longer considered state or federally endangered. WDFW is developing a conservation and management plan and in junction with the State Environmental Policy Act need public input.
The community workshop for Chelan County residents to express public comment is on September 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chelan Fire Station.
