WI: DNR to Hold Public Meeting June 11 in Wausau Regarding Wolf Population

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting to share and discuss 2014-15 Wisconsin wolf population data.

This meeting will be open to the public, and will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday June 11 at Days Inn, 4700 Rib Mountain Dr., in Wausau.

In January, Wisconsin wildlife officials shelved their new wolf management plan after a federal ruling placing Great Lakes wolves back on the endangered species list.
