by County 10 News Desk

(Cheyenne) –  – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is partnering with the Wyoming Distance Learning Center to stream, via the internet, three public wolf regulation meetings in April, including the meeting in Lander on Wed., April 11. The meetings are designed to provide information and gather public comments on the department’s draft revised wolf management and wolf hunting regulations, which are currently open for public comment.

“Understanding public opinions about wildlife management is a high priority with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department,” said WGFD Assistant Wildlife Chief Scott Edberg. “We hope this new technology will help us reachmore people with information about wolves in Wyoming and our proposed approach to wolf management.”

People interested in viewing the online meetings can log in to a website and watch from a computer. They will also be able to submit questions via a chat feature, though time restrictions may prevent WGFD personnel at the meeting from answering questions submitted online. There are no restrictions on the number of people who can participate, and there is no preregistration required.

The meeting schedule is as follows:

April 9 – Pinedale, 7:00 pm
April 10 – Jackson, 7:00 pm
