Wildlife Services officials have confirmed Saturday that wolves from the Black Lake Pack depredated a bear hunting hound in the Sawyer County town of Draper.
This depredation is less than two miles from one that occurred on August 18 and is inside the 4-mile buffer area created after that incident.
The 3 1/2 year old Walker hound represents the 23rd bear hound killed this season.
