NORTH IDAHO–Wolves in North Idaho are playing a huge role in diminishing the elk population.
Hunters say wolves are wiping out the large game in the area and it’s leaving little to nothing for humans needing the meat.
Wildlife officials say wolves and back-to-back severe winters have hurt the elk population, so cows are off limits to most hunters this year across the Panhandle.
