ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) — A Minnesota group will hold a rally Thursday in St. Paul to call for an immediate end to the late wolf hunting season.
The “Howling for Wolves” organization will rally from 11 a.m. – noon outside the DNR headquarters in St. Paul. The group says Minnesota wildlife officials are endangering the wolf population.
According to the Minnesota DNR, 145 wolves have been killed so far in the late season. That’s 19 more than the goal number.
The late season doesn’t officially end until January 31.
