Montana officials postpone considering wolf bow-hunt

HELENA — The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commission won’t consider whether to allow a bow hunt for wolves until next spring.
The issue was slated for discussion on Thursday, but the commission postponed that discussion to give the public more time to comment on the plan.
Fish, Wildlife and Parks Management Section Supervisor Quentin Kujala says the commissioners will still have a full plate for their meeting this week, with elk, deer, antelope, upland game birds and other seasons on the agenda.
