“Like a massacre” – that describes farmer Anders Svensson’s sight in the sheep pasture after a wolf attack in Småland’s Hestra. On Sunday morning he found 21 out of 25 sheep killed or severely wounded, reports several media. Several sheep were destroyed, and now it’s only four living.
“It is still shocking, thinking that it is a nightmare. Here dead sheep lie everywhere. They are floating in the pond, it’s a terrible sight,” says Anders Svensson to P4 Jönköping.
The County Administrative Board’s predator expert has visited the farm and is convinced that a wolf is behind the attack.
