95 percent of the wolves that died in Scandinavia this year have been shot through hunting – 46 of 48 animals. One died because of mange and was hit by a vehicle.
In total, 100 of the wolves died for various reasons since 1 January last year. 52 known wolves died in 2014 of which 37 were shot in hunting, reports the Swedish predator organization in a press release.
