The Board of Kolmården zoo has decided to cease all close physical contact with wolves in the park, after the attack in the enclosure on Sunday killed a keeper. The park’s CEO, Jan Roy says to SR Radio that the decision applies to both staff and visitors.
“We recognize that it’s impossible to be that way, it is obviously too risky to work that way – so it will end,” says CEO Jan Roy.
The park has not decided whether wolves should be kept or not.
