Another sheep in Skåne has been killed by wolves. This time a young ram outside Horby.
“The damage suggests a wolf. If it’s the same wolf that for the fifth time now has killed sheep in this area, we can of course not with one hundred percent certainty, but the evidence is there,” says Bertil Nilsson at the County Board of Skåne.
Sheep owners in the area are invited to continue to review their fence and as far as possible to make them predator repellent.
Last Thursday granted EPA hunting of wolves, something the County Board has recommended. The controlled hunt starts on Wednesday August 21.
