This after the Swedes said that only wolves that actually caused serious harm must be subjected to controlled hunting, that no hunting license to take place next year and promises to comply with EU rules in the Habitats Directive, the Commission said in a statement.
At the same time the Commission clarified that it will see to it that Sweden lives up to the promises.
