4. The wild wolf howling adventure
Sweden boasts a range of wildlife tours where you can spot elk, beavers and birds in their natural habitats. If you’re looking for something even more dramatic, summer is the perfect time to camp outdoors, track wolves and hear the animals screaming outside your tent in the early hours. Run in cooperation with the Scandinavian Wolf project based at Grimsö Wildlife Research Station in central Sweden,Wild Sweden offers forest tours that allow visitors to sleep in tents in prime wolf territory.
