NORRKÖPING / TT

Early next week the Work Environment Authority will send an inspection notice to Kolmården zoo about the wolf attack in which an employee’s life was lost.

“We will seek the employer’s occupational injury assessment with risk assessments or otherwise,” says Gunnel Gyllensvaan Erichs, lawyer for the Work Environment Authority in Linköping.

It is still unclear if some preliminary results came from the autopsy. The Work Environment Authority gets its information from the police, but will not disclose such.

TT: But have you got any results from the autopsy?

“We have not,” answered Gyllensvaan Erichs.

Mats Höggren, zoological director at Kolmården, points out that the police investigation is aimed at the zoo.

“We have a dialogue with the police but know nothing about any results.

The police did not want to say anything about the results of the investigation on Thursday.
