Twenty ewes were found dead outside Skurup in southern Skåne which County Administrative Board believes that a wolf was behind the attack.
“We obviously can not be entirely sure that it is wolves, but I see it as very likely,” explained county administrative officer predators specialist Nils Carlsson in a statement. The investigation is continuing.
The dead ewes were found on Wednesday morning on Näsbyhoms farm. Sheep owners in the area now called upon to review the protection of their animals.
