Adult alpacas have been killed in a suspected wolf attack in Smedstad north of Karlstad, said TV4 Värmland. Another animal has been injured and is being cared for by a district veterinarian at the site.
It is unclear how many wolves had gone on the attack in the pasture. It happened in the early hours of Thursday, or in the morning. Police are engaged in the case and the case has been handed over to the provincial government.
The farm supplies wool of alpaca to buyers which include the fashion industry.
