A sheep farmer of Torsby shot a wolf that was attacking his sheep on Saturday morning. According to the police the wolf killed a sheep, but was shot when it was about to attack another sheep.
“The farmer reported the shooting himself and considers himself to have saved his sheep. But at present we denote it as a severe hunting offense. It can probably be changed during the course of the investigation,” says spokesman at Värmland police, Mats Gärdling.
