Another wolf has been shot in Värmland. The incident occurred on Friday in the northern part of Glaskog’s territory. A hunter was forced to shoot the wolves that attacked his hunting dog.
According to Lars Larsson, nature watchers at the County Administrative Board of Värmland, the wolf was shot in accordance with clause 28. This section gives a hunter the right to shoot the wolf attacking his dog.
The wolf is probably a female and it will now be sent to the National Veterinary Institute in Uppsala.
