WA: ‘Living with wolves’ panel discussion set

If you already have an opinion on the state’s minimal but steadily increasing wolf population or are still lacking the input to develop one, you might mark next Tuesday (Nov. 15) on your calendar.

That’s the date of a 7 p.m. panel discussion on “Living With Wolves,” to be held at Yakima Valley Community College’s Parker Room (1000 S. 12th Ave.), free and open to the public. The panel will feature, among others, author/photographer/wildlife tracker David Moskowitz and Jay Kehne, outreach associate for Conservation Northwest and an avid hunter, as well as biologists from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

The event is co-sponsored by the Yakima Environmental Learning Foundation, Conservation Northwest and the Yakima Valley Audubon Society.
