Wolf researcher to make presentation in Duluth
Wildlife researcher Rolf Peterson of Michigan Technological University will present “Wolves and Moose of Isle Royale” at 7 p.m. Friday at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s midcontinent Ecology Lab, Gitchee Gumee Conference Center, at 6201 E. Congdon Blvd. in Duluth.
Peterson, author of “The Wolves of Isle Royale: A Broken Balance,” will present information about his latest Isle Royale wolf-moose interaction research, which was completed just days ago.
The event is sponsored by the Hartley Nature Center, University of Minnesota Duluth Continuing Education, Isle Royale Institute, Isle Royale Natural History Association and Sugarloaf Interpretive Center Association. It’s free and open to the public. Call (218) 724-6735.
